Founded by Giovanni Bertagnolli in 2011, Satyr Picks has been a defiantly independent and deliberately small portfolio in the New York wine world since inception. After retiring in 2022, Giovanni passed the torch to his sole employee, Nic Flood, who is carrying on the mission to find excellence, often in fringe wine regions scattered throughout the borderlands of northern Italy, Austria, and the Alps.
