Founded by Giovanni Bertagnolli in 2005, Satyr Picks has been a defiantly independent portfolio in the New York wine world since inception. After retiring in 2022, Giovanni handed the torch to his employee, Nic Flood, who is carrying on the mission to find excellence in wine regions scattered throughout the borderlands of northern Italy, southern Austria, and the expanse of the Alps.
